On June 12, 2015 at 17:00 the Branch of the Hellenic Foundation for Culture in Odessa will host a round-table meeting in history of Byzantine culture and philosophy dedicated to the memory of David B. Zilberman (1938-1977), a Soviet and American philosopher born in Odessa.

During the meeting the following reports will be presented:
“Life and career of David B. Zilberman and his concept of culture-historical typology”, Prof. A.N. Rodjero, Odessa National Academy of Music;
“Issues in sociology of cognition and sociology of religion in the works of David B. Zilberman”, Dr. S.P. Shevtsov, Odessa National University;
“The intellectual biography of David Zilberman in the context of Odessa of the 1950-1960s”, Dr. I.V. Golubovich.

The discussion will be followed by a presentation of books by David B. Zilberman.
