On October 28th, the Greek National Ohi Day and the 70th Anniversary of liberation of Ukraine from the German Fascist occupants, officials from the Consulate General of Greece in Odessa and the Branch of the Hellenic Foundation for Culture and representatives of Greek cultural societies attended a festive church service in the Greek Cathedral of St. Trinity.

Following the service, thanks to the support from Mr. P. Boumbouras, at the Branch of the Hellenic Foundation 32 Greek veterans of the World War II received financial aid and festive bunches of flowers. Their musical greetings to the veterans played students from Odessa National A.V. Nezhdanova Academy of Music.
