The Branch has supported the publication of a guidebook “Walking in the Greek Odessa” written by V.P. Netrebskiy, V.V. Sherstobitov and I.V. Arutyunova (Odessa Municipal Printing House, 2016).
The authors dedicated their book to the 195th Anniversary from the onset of the Greek National Liberation Movement. The guidebook tells about the Greek Square, Greek Street and the Greek Church of the Holy Trinity, as well as contains aphorisms and anecdotes of the ancient Greeks.
The Branch is very grateful to the authors for their work. We hope that the authors and other researchers will continue their studies and publications in the Greek presence in Odessa in both the past and the present.
