October 14-15, 2016 Mr. Sofronis Paradeisopoulos, the director of the Branch of the Hellenic Foundation for Culture, participated in the International Conference “From the Aegean to the Black Sea” held at the National Hellenic Research Foundation (Athens, Greece). The conference was co‐organized by the Institute of Historical Research of the National Hellenic Research Foundation (IHR/NHRF) and the History Department of the Ionian University and dedicated to the memory of Evridiki Sifneos, Research Director in the IHR/NHRF, who passed away last year. At the conference, Mr. Paradeisopoulos presented a report titled “Natality of the Greeks in Odessa, 1800-­1920”.
