The flatbed photo exhibition “Constantine Cavafy – Life and Works” (1863-1933)” will be open in the N. V. Karazin library of Kharkiv National University on February 7, 2014.

The exhibition is presented to the Kharkiv Greek community by the Branch of the Hellenic Foundation for Culture.
The exhibition, created by the Hellenic Foundation for Culture in cooperation with the Center for Hellenistic Studies / Cavafy’s Archive and with the financial support of the company “Gefest”, includes information from the biography of C. Cavafy, his way of life, personal documentary photos, as well as members of his family, the environment, editions of his works in 25 languages ​​of the world, personal notes, manuscripts of works, letters, etc.

The opening of the exhibition will be accompanied by the literary and musical performance of Cavafy’s art.
The exhibition will run until February 27.
