December 23, 2016 the Branch of the HFC hosted a New Year Matinee for children of members of the regional communities of Greeks (Greeks of Odessa and Malyi Buialyk), those of the staff of the Branch and the Consulate General of Greece in Odessa and children who study Greek language at the Branch ranging in age from 2 to 12.
The Consul General of Greece Mrs. Despina Koukoulopoulou wished the children a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and presented them with chocolate candies.
The artists from the Childrens’ Theater of Odessa performed a small play about the New Year adventures of some fairy characters, while the Grandpa Frost and his granddaughter presented the children with sweets provided by the Branch and the director of GEFEST Building Company Mr. P. Boumbouras.
