The project is implemented to commemorate the 165^th Anniversary of the birth and the 95^th Anniversary of the death of Kiriak Kostandi, an academician of fine arts, mentor and director of the municipal Museum of Fine Arts in Odessa

To date, the following activities have been hosted:

27.10-20.11.2016
Exhibition of works by teachers of arts from the K. Kostandi School of Fine Arts in Odessa (60 works by 22 artists, 350 visitors).

21.11-18.12.2016
Exhibition of works by teachers of arts from the M. Grekov College of Fine Arts in Odessa (47 works by 20 artists, 155 visitors).

17.11.2016
Lecture by I. Timokhova from the Odessa Museum of Western and Oriental Arts: “The Precious Talent of K. Kostandi” (70 attendees).

15.12.2016
Lecture by N. Porozhniakova from the M. Grekov College of Fine Arts in Odessa: “K. Kostandi – our artistic consciousness (P. Nilus)” (40 attendees).

22.12.2016 – 31.01.2017
Exhibition of photographic works (on canvas) “Based on A.I. Kuindzhi’s works” prepared by photographic studios «Bereg” and “Matritsa-M” from Mariupol in dedication of the 175^th Anniversary of the birth of A. Kuindzhi (60 photographs by 16 artists).

There will be more exhibitions, lectures, etc. We look forward to welcoming new participants in the project.
