The Odessa Branch of the Hellenic Foundation for Culture announces the competition in honor of the great giver of life, the tireless researcher, the leading light in medical science of XX century, the inventor of Pap test (a method of early diagnosis of cancer), the father of medical cytology, the Greek biologist and physician George Papanicolaou.

The competition is held in cooperation with the Odessa State Medical University, Odessa NationalUniversity, the Department of Health of the Odessa City Council.
