The Branch of the HFC is inviting residents of and visitors to Odessa to attend two exhibitions of arts which prepared in celebration of the National Independence Day in Greece:
Visual arts of Odessa in the context of “big time” (second half of the 20th – early 21st century).
The exhibition organized in collaboration with the Department of Fine Arts at the South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University presents 50 works by Odessa’s painters, graphic artists and sculptors including N.I. Stepanov, B.A. Rumyantsev, G.A. Palatnikov, V.N. Kabachenko, A.I. Pismichenko, A.V. Knyazik, A.H. Tokarev and A.S. Shopin.
The exhibition is open until May 20, 2015.
No admittance fee is charged.
“Journey of Argonauts” (The best works of the 20th child picture competition “Spirit of Hellas among Us”).
The exhibition shows 70 of 500 children’s artistic works reflecting upon the Greek myth of Argonauts.
The exhibition will be opened from May, 10 until September of 2015.
