February 1-5, 2017 the choreographer of the HFC’s traditional Greek dance ensemble Mr. Grigoris Khnarakis held a series of seminars and workshops in traditional Greek dances for directors and members of dance ensembles in the Azov Region.

February 1-2: Pervomaysk, Mangush, Yalta, Urzuf (40 attendees)
February 3-4: Mariupol (45 attendees)
February 5: Volnovakha (30 attendees)

The tour took place in cooperation with the Federation of Greek Communities of Ukraine and thanks to the financial support from the Boumbouras Foundation (Odessa).

The attendees to the workshops expressed their gratitude to Mr. Khnarakis and the supporters of his visit for the opportunity to communicate with the choreographer in person and learn from him. Local authorities also praised the workshops. In particular, the Chair of the Administration of Mangush, Mr. D. Chernytsa, thanked the choreographer and invited him to visit the town again in the nearest future.
