March 18, 2017 the Greek Society of Kharkiv “Helios” will open the exhibition “Modern Greek Photographers” in the framework of the Festival of Greek Culture in celebration of the Independence Day of Greece. The exhibition is prepared by the Branch of the Hellenic Foundation for Culture in Odessa and contains 51 works of 43 photographers from Athens.

The opening ceremony will be hosted by Sergey Gumeniuk, an Honorary Art Worker of Ukraine and the chairperson of the Odessa Association of Photographers, who had established close ties with the Greek Orgarnization of Photographers, which provided the photographs for the exhibition.

The reciprocal exhibition of Odessa photographers will be on display in Athens in 2017.
