March 23, 2017 at 14:00 the Branch of the HFC will host the opening of the exhibition of the best artworks submitted for the XXII nation-wide art contest among children, “The Spirit of Hellas is Among Us” (thematic topic “My favorite Greek hero”) organized in collaboration with the Panagiotis Giannakos Cultural Foundation (Greece). The opening ceremony will be attended by the director of the Foundation, Mr. Christos Giannakos. Three first-prize winners of the contest (age 9-12) will be awarded with educational trips to the island of Crete.

Nine hundred and fifty eight artistic works were submitted for the contest from all over Ukraine from Lviv to Dnipro and from Kharkiv to Odessa, but mainly, from southern (Odessa, Mykolaiv, Kherson) and eastern (Kharkiv, Donetsk) regions. The winners of the contest will be announced later.
