November 16, 2017 at 16:00 the Branch of the HFC will host a gathering “Memory of K.K. Kostandi lives in the hearts of Odessites”.
Program:
- Memories about K. Kostandi and his family members shared by their descendants and acquaintances.
- Announcement of the results of the Unknown Kostandi Project (October 2016 – November 2017).
- Presentation of a catalogue of the exhibition “Your canvases will never be forgotten...” organized in commemoration of the 165th birthday of K. Kostandi (includes also works by M. Kostandi, L. Kostandi, V. Sinitskiy, A. Stilianudi, V. Tsimpakov and A. Hrshanovskiy from the Odessa Museum of Fine Arts and private collections).
There will also be demonstrated a video of the opening of the exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of K. Kostandi at the Odessa Museum of Fine Arts attended by the artist’s daughters as well as photographs of events held in the framework of the 2016-2017 project.
