The Odessa Branch of the Hellenic Foundation for Culture announces the 16th children\’s contest “Greece through the eyes of children”, for the best work of painting and drawing.
The works are dedicated to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites situated in Greece. They are:
Mount Athos
Acropolis, Athens
Temple of Apollo Epikurius at Bassae
Archeological Site of Vergina
Archeological Site of Delphi
Archeological Site of Delos
Archeological Site of Epidaurus
Paleochristian and Byzantine Monuments of Thessaloniki
Monasteries of Meteora
Medieval City of Mystras
Monasteries of Daphni, St. Luke, Nea Moni of Chios
Archeological Sites of Mycenae and Tiryns
Archeological Site of Olympia
Monastery of St. John “the Theologian” and Cave of the Apocalypse on the Island of Patmos
Old Town of Corfu
Medieval City of Rhodes
Pythagoreion and Heraion of Samos
Children up to age 15 may participate in the contest and their works will be accepted from 7th to 15th of March at the Branch of the Hellenic Foundation for Culture.
The best paintings will be presented in an exhibition. The opening day is March 24.
