On March 25, the National Greek Holiday of the Independence Day, there opened an exhibition of 78 best children’s works of the total of 560 works submitted to the 21th Contest “The Spirit of Hellas in Among Us” on the theme of “The Labors of Heracles”.
Admission is free of charge.
The largest collections of highly artistic works of children were submitted from:

For the first time there were submitted works executed in very different techniques: paintings, graphics, batiks, wood carvings, ceramics, collages and computer graphics.
Twenty five children were awarded with diplomas and presents. The main prizes, two-week vacations in the Island of Crete in Greece, were awarded to the first prise winners in the age category from 9 to 12 years:

The contest is supported by the Panagiotis Giannakos Cultural Foundation (Greece). The director of the foundation, Mr. Christos Giannakos was in person present at the award ceremony and congratulated the prize winners.The Branch of the Hellenic Foundation for Culture presented its letters of gratitude to the following teachers:
