The lecture of Irina Timokhova, an art critic from the Odessa Museum of Western and Oriental Arts, will discuss the life and work of a prominent painter Kiriak Kostandi, whose effort promoted the painting school of Odessa to all encyclopedias of arts, but whose works remain poorly known to a wider public. The attendees will learn about a great talent of the artist known as a magnificent teacher and a master of light effects as well as some other facts about K. Kostandi.

The lecture will be given November 17, 2016 at 15:00 in the Brach of the Hellenic Foundation for Culture at the exhibition of works by instructors from the Odessa Children’s School of Fine Arts that opened October 10, 2016.
